Our main focus is on public funding, from European and national funding sources. Our consultants are experts in a wide range of business sectors including, but not limited to, ICT/digital, Industry, Energy/Environment and Healthcare.
FOAG’s network of consultants has had a high success rate in securing funding for our clients’ projects. The secret of this success is ensuring that the client does not submit an application until all the essential steps have been completed.
FOAG offers strategic consultancy in support of projects and institutions covering areas such as: market and feasibility studies; business modelling; IPR assessment; marketing and communications; monitoring & evaluation.
A third stream of our work is in donor co-ordination, supporting organisations and public bodies dealing with multiple, international funders. We help maximise the impact of the money received from donors, manage complex reporting requirements, and support clients to build relationships with donors and unlock future opportunities.
Our History
Richard Jones founded RDJ Consultants in January 1998, as an unincorporated network of consultants. In March 2015, we incorporated as RDJ Project Consultants Limited, and continued to trade as RDJ Consultants. In 2018 we started to trade as the Funding Opportunities Advisory Group. In 2019 Richard retired, passing the business to a team of experienced consultants, based across Europe.

Agim Tonuzi – CEO & Managing Director, Head of Paris Office
Agim specialises in identifying funding opportunities, designing scoping and funding strategies and drafting application forms in order to secure funding for a wide range of international clients. As a result of his past experience as Head of the Donor Co-ordination Unit of the EU Mission in Kosovo / UNMIK, Agim’s profile is unique to manage large scale donor co-ordination activities.
Agim’s mission is to develop our presence and client base in CEE countries and in South East Europe. Agim has a BA from the Amiens School of Management (F) and a Master in European affairs from the Catholic university of Leuven (B).
Ruben Pozuelo – Innovation Funding Director, Head of the Madrid Office
Ruben has a deep background in securing funding and tax incentives for Research and Development projects and business innovation initiatives, especially targeting technological start-ups.
His main field of expertise is that of Information and Communication Technologies applied to the digital transformation of a wide range of activity sectors, having also a valuable exposure to medical devices and innovative energy production solutions.

Deniz Darka Ulukan – Director for Business Efficiency and Financial Technology / Head of Istanbul Office
As an AAT certified Economist, Deniz’s expertise including 12+ years banking experience encompasses all aspects of accounting and financial affairs, from controlling cash flow, financial analysis, financial models and maximizing revenues to harnessing team strengths to improve companywide performance.
